The Use Case for the Series 55 Clamp Pro compared to a Series 55 Trackball

A brief introduction:

  • The Series 55 Trackball is a perfect way to attach a Carbon Fiber Series® arm and device holder for maximum arm articulation and holder placement. The trackball is locked in by clamps on the carbon fiber series arm.
  • The Series 55 Clamp Pro serves as an efficient and cost-effective method for attaching a 67 Designs holder to a Series 55 rail in compact work spaces, eliminating the need for a Carbon Fiber Series® arm. Featuring clamps that securely grip a 20mm metal ball, the Series 55 Clamp Pro ensures a reliable and compact connection.
  • Both rail attachment products feature 67 Designs’ patented anti-rotation connection at the rail. 

 

Advantages and Benefits

  • Works with any base in the Carbon Fiber Series® that contains a Series 55 rail.
  • Works with any holder in the Carbon Fiber Series® that has a pre-installed 20mm ball. 
  • Compact design that eliminates the need to have an arm between the Series 55 rail and a holder.
  • Slide the flange, lock in any place on the rail.
  • Can be converted to accept a 25.4mm (1”) ball component from an alternative company by purchasing the Dam Adapter clamps (sold separately) and swapping out the 20mm clamps on the P75001 ‘None’ pack option. 

 

Installation is Easy. 

  • Install in a 67 Designs Series 55 rail profile.
  • Use locking plate and fastener. 
  • Slide into desired location and tighten the fastener, and attach the clamps, knob and bolt.

    • 1 x Clamps to fit a 20mm diameter metal ball.
    • 1 x 6mm Hex Bolt.
    • 1 x Nylon Thumb Nut
