Benefits

  • Provides some minor movement between bonded surfaces and is good for shock absorption.
  • Can be used with either the MagSafe G2 Carbon Fiber holder or the Universal Sticky Base.

Product Details

  • Contains 1 part. The part is double sided with liner on each side. 
  • Strong 3M brand VHB backing to stick to the carbon fiber and the contact surface.

Installation is Easy.

  • Peel off the older 3M double-sided pressure Very High Bond (VHB)
  • Wipe the base of any residue.
  • Install on the flat surface.
  • After application, 3M® states the bond strength will increase as the adhesive flows onto the surface. At room temperature, approximately;
        •    50% of the ultimate strength will be achieved after 20 minutes,
        •    90% after 24 hours and
        •    100% after 72 hours.
    Fortunately, once the tape has been applied and set, the adhesive will generally hold all the way down to -40ºC!
